Spray Dryer System
This is an introduction to the Spray Dryer System by Wintech Co., Ltd.
What is a Spray Dryer?
An advanced powder production system that cools incoming air through a multi-stage cooling process into low-temperature air, and rapidly dries sprayed feed material in a chamber to remove liquid components.
Main Components
Air Circulation Control: A system that uses a fan to intake outside air and an inverter to precisely control airflow, forming the basis of system air circulation.
Heat Exchange System: A system that gradually cools incoming air through a staged heat exchange process to ensure precise process temperature control.
A strong vortex flow is generated through directional design. High-precision atomization and airflow design: the heated solution is atomized via an atomizer while nozzle airflow
is regulated inside the chamber.
Collection Technology: A staged collection process that ensures complete capture of solidified materials.
Expected Benefits
Applied to Secondary Battery Material Manufacturing and Recycling Plants
It minimizes raw material feed errors to maintain uniform precursor particle size and composition, playing a key role in final battery cell quality while maximizing the recovery rate and purity of rare metals such as lithium and nickel in recycling processes (Black Mass).
Expansion into the High Value-Added Fine Powder Industry
By enabling nano-scale fine particle control technology, it secures uniform particle size distribution and optimal solubility required in pharmaceuticals, functional foods, and advanced chemical materials, thereby enhancing product market competitiveness.
Implementation of Smart Factory and Automated Processes
Energy consumption is optimized through data feedback control based on real-time dew point and temperature monitoring, while unmanned automated feeding and conveying systems ensure both operator safety and production reproducibility.
