Cake Put
This is an introduction to Wintech Co., Ltd.’s Cake Feeding System.
What is a Cake Feeding Device?
A preprocessing and feeding system that conditions high-moisture cake solids by size reduction and de-agglomeration, ensuring stable and metered transfer to downstream processes without blockage.
Main Components
Feed Hopper: A temporary storage chamber for cake material, with steep wall angles or Teflon coating to prevent material adhesion.
Breaker/Agitator: A rotating mechanism inside the hopper that crushes large cake agglomerates and prevents bridging.
Screw Feeder: A conveying device that delivers the broken cake to the next process at a controlled and metered rate.
Ribbon or paddle-type blades are mainly used to prevent sticking of materials.
Vibrator: A device mounted on the hopper wall that generates mechanical vibration to dislodge adhered cake material.
Expected Benefits
Improved Safety in Continuous Operations
It replaces manual cake feeding with continuous and controlled material feeding into dryers or reactors, preventing downstream overload and maximizing overall line productivity.
Consistent Product Quality
Agglomerated feed can prevent heat penetration during drying, causing quality degradation. By crushing the material into a uniform particle size at the feeding stage, the system improves drying efficiency and product uniformity.
Enhanced Working Environment and Safety
It prevents foreign matter contamination and incorporates anti-static design to eliminate explosion risks from combustible dust.
