Powder Transfer
This is an introduction to the Powder Conveying System by Wintech Co., Ltd.
What is a Powder Conveyor System?
A powder conveying system is equipment that transports raw materials in powder or granule form to the next process using pipelines or mechanical devices. It is an essential part of process automation that suppresses dust generation caused by manual handling and enables continuous material feeding.
Main Components
Feeder/Hopper (Supply Device): An inlet section where raw materials are introduced into the system, equipped with rotary valves or screw feeders for controlled discharge of material.
Conveying Power Source: A unit that generates the driving force for pushing or pulling powder materials in the conveying process.
Conveying Line: A transport pathway for raw materials, using stainless steel (SUS) pipes or specialized hoses to minimize friction and prevent static electricity generation.
Control Panel: A unit that enables real-time monitoring and control of conveying speed, pressure, and
operating time.
Expected Benefits
Improved Production Efficiency
Automated raw material feeding reduces inter-batch waiting time and enables continuous 24-hour operation.
Enhanced Working Environment
A sealed structure is designed to eliminate powder dispersion (dust generation), maintaining site cleanliness and
ensuring operator health protection.
Maintaining Quality and Safety
It prevents foreign particle contamination and incorporates anti-static design to mitigate explosion risks from combustible dust.
